It blows the first one out of the water. This was incredibly intense. Ledger was amazing.

9.5/10

Hoo, you know it's good when Era gives a review like that! :o

It was incredible. I definitely agree; it destroyed the first one by far. The acting was awesome. The Joker was everything Jack Nicholson wasn't. In other words, Jack Nicholson was owned. Harvey Dent was awesome.

And yes, it was very VERY intense.

I like how they took the building scene with The Joker and Batman from the first Batman movie where The Joker fell. They completely re-did it and made you think "Oh no The Joker's gonna die again...just kidding!"
9.5/10 - I would give it a 10 but I don't think it's broken-femur worthy (I'm sure someone will get that).

To me the best of the movie was the action sequences, and Ledger's Performance.

RIP Super Actor.

Honestly, they need to end the Joker thing right here if they go (and the will) with another Bat Man Movie. Nothing could top Heath Ledger's performance.

I loved the three different stories Joker told about his scars. Which one do you guys think was the real one? I personally liked the first story about his drunk father.

I thought it was amazing. I loved all of it. The Joker was fantastic. I loved the part when he made the pencil disappear. Two Face's...face was awesome.

9.5/10

"Why so serious?"

Thought it was a good movie. I enjoyed it, which is all I'll ask out of a film.

I enjoyed it alot, but I thought the "Joker" was too dark.
I never thought of him as a psychopath, only as a crazy chaotic nut.

It kinda pushed a PG-13 rating I think, it makes me angry to see parents taking 5 year olds to see it.

I definitely agree. One of the reasons my parents didn't let me see it when it first came out (and now I just haven't had anyone to go with).
No, I'm not a 5-year old, I just have protective parents.

It's actually pg-16 over here (or will be). One of very few times we're stricter than America.

I can see the Joker being a psychopath, must be a lovely role to act out. Can't wait to see this movie.

Well you know that the actor died after it was filmed, right?

That's the exact rating my dad said it should have had. It's definitely a hard PG-13. I was surprised by how adult it was, but I think that's what made it so great. I don't think younger kids can appreciate it the way older audiences might. The movie makes you think and it transcends your typical comic book movie -- it's kind of deep, something younger audiences are oblivious to. I'd like to see it again simply because there's just so much there to take in.

What I love about these new Batman movies are the fact that the directors try to make the story as real-to-life as possible.

I wager this will be the new #2 movie of all time, right behind the "king" of all movies, Titanic.

It's definitely heading there. It'll pass the $500 million mark without a sweat. TDK has stayed at #1 in the domestic box office for the past two weekends, and even topped The Mummy this weekend.

I really want to see it in Imax!

While the new joker is cool, I think I'd much rather have him the joker we Batman fans have come to love and fear. The "hair slicked back, creepy mark hamill sleeze voice, with the cool purple suit" joker.

No, no Mr. Nimrod.

I think this Joker may even top Mark Hamill.
