Ok guys, I have this problem and I can't take it anymore.

My game tends to - in order:
- freeze
- black out the screen (AMD drivers crashed)
- go back to normal

If I'm "lucky" I can keep playing, otherwise it repeats the same process for 3-4 times without letting me play and then I get the blue screen of death\the pc restarts.

Lowering the video settings does not always help (and I'd like to play a ten years old game with full graphics), some maps tend to do it more than others and I think that also too many sounds at the same time contribute to having this issue.

I have an AMD radeon HD 7700, I had to install the OLD drivers 15.something to fix the neon yellow terrain bug, as I was told in another topic here.

My pc should be decent enough, it runs newer games than battlefront2 without problems.

win7 66x
RAM 8 GB

It would be really cool if you guys could help me out on this, I don't really know how to solve it.

Have you tried reinstalling the game? Have you updated/upgraded something recently? It could be something to do with the drivers updates.
