Its March 9th here today in Aus.. but EB games website and Gamewarehouse both have TBA instead of a release :/

My wii will definately turn up anytime this week... so Ill join the Brawl with you guys.. Ill hand out my friend code ASAP

I'm getting my copy of the game tommorow. (Today is still March 8 for me) I pre-ordered it so I won't have to worry about the store running out of copies.

It sucks that I won't be able to play it the day I get it, I'll be busy all day.

Yeah, I'm going to go tonight and stay up and play it (if parents let me... ) Then tomorrow I'll have to finish up this huge project... so I guess just tonight...

I'll post my Wii Number when I go on tonight as well...

Just got my copy. Midnight tourney was really fun, nice to meet some other local Smashers. I bowed out after a couple rounds, but seeing as it was an items-on, Wiimote+chuck setup, and random characters, I don't feel too bad about losing.

I'm still away from home, but as soon as I get back, I'll be posting my Wii code. I look forward to Brawling with ya'll!

Gamestop in our mall had a special midnight opening and my friend camped out after we watched 10000 BC. I actually just played, and it was pretty intense.

Off topic: We tried to get into semipro, but my friend didnt have any id, and this was what happened:

Cashier: You need ID to get in. Can you show me some id?

Kai: Crap. Yo, you got any id on ya?

Me: mutter under breath

Kai: Well this just sucks @$$! 10000 BC.

I got it today, played it for like 15 minutes cause i got lots of homework. Awesome game, just need to get used to the controls.

Ahhhhhhh my head is sore from all the brawl i've been playing. It's super fun, and the stage builder is pretty good. All the characters are about evenly matched, and have awesome alternative costumes. BTW did any one figure out how to final smash on the gamecube control i can't seem to do it.

I'm currently on The Great Maze. We all got so mad at it we made the N64 stages instead


And they called him Tabuu. Yes, they messed up a translation and possibly made his trophy description awkward (translated from Japan, it was something along the lines of "Taboo, no name suits him better...")

what controls are you guys using? Wiimote (+nunchuck), Gamecube...
I'm trying to learn Wiimote+nunchuck so when I have friends over they can use the gamecube controllers.

I'm using the Gamecube controller, because it's the only one I can hold. (I broke my am recently, and the cast inhibits me from holding a Wiimote)

Once the cast comes off, I'll use the Wiimote + Nunchuck.

Urrrgh..... my copy still hasn't arrived yet.....

Just to make sure, when you preorder from Gamestop, does it ship to your house or do you have to pick it up from the nearest Gamestop?
