the bridge looks awesome,

and i think useing the dining room from brainvaders would be kinda wierd, the mess hall in hidden enemy would look better if at all

The first is the dinner room of the medical frigate, the second is from the republic base on Christophsis. Waht can be the best for the venator?

I'm thinking on the portals and sector system to get the best rendering ingame, the only thing is that I have not idea to how work it.
From what I understand is a system to improve visibility ingame, that is, some objects can be seen through a portal or if the player goes through a portal?

someone can explain this, I'll need it to get this big model ingame.

offtopic: if ive understood correctly, portals are like....well portals. when the player walks through a portal certain setors will be rendered or not rendered

Portal/sector documentation is included with the modtools. It's really only relevant on interior maps, and consequently doesn't get used often, so you won't find many specific threads in the SWBF2 modding forum on it. Feel free to open up a topic there if you have specific questions regarding using portals/sectors, but make sure to give the documentation a look-through first.

You're progressing along quite well. My only criticism is that some of the textures could use more detail - namely the wall/floor textures. At the moment they appear almost as a solid grey.

Wow freaking awesome work. I guess it must have taken a long time to create this.
Anyway the venator will be a map? Or a part of a map?
