Visual munge stopped munging collision [solved]

Post by DarthD.U.C.K. »

today i ran into a huge problem. visualmunge doesnt generate soldiercollision for some parts of models anymore. ive tried using primitives which normaly always work, tried msh.option-commands and the collision-odfparameter without success. no matter what i do, after a point, the models are missing either the whole or a part of the collision. cleaning and manual cleaning doesnt help either.
does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

copying the world and scriptfiles to an old copy of the map and munging there didnt help either.

lephenix was so kind to test the mshs, for him one worked and the other two mshs wioth missing collision created these errors and amde the map crash:

Gah, I hate those errors. Got them a few times myself, with one map, and it has never been fixed. Uh, manual clean?...

Did he test them in a new map or in the old copy of the map you mentioned before? If he did it in the old version, maybe you could try in a new map with only these mshs.

thanks for your help. i found the problem now, it was the XSI-scene. it seems like 650 objects and/or60 collisions in one scene were too much for the pandemic tool. with the models exported from a fresh scene the collision works now
