I am looking into creating a more organised list of my maps for swbf, possible using new 'maps' as seperators etc. In order to do this though, I need to determing exactly what order maps are put in on the list. (ie:alphabetacal order of the modid, folder name etc)

yeah if you have your maps in the addon folder aranged by name then thats how they will be in the game. I always rename a map when I download it to the maps actual name instead of the mod id

It depends on the computer/settings. I play SWBF on two computers; one arranges them in alphabetical order according to the ModID, while the other arranges them by date added.

I do too. Easier to know which is which and it does put the maps in alphabetical order plus all the Naboo's go with the Naboo's and the Geonosis' with the Geonosis' etc.

Thanks.

A usesfull conlusion I came too: The first 25 or so maps alphabetacally in the list work, even if you have say 100 installed. So if you put an ! on the front of the folder if 25 of your favorite maps, they should work. The over 25 crash thing seams to be related to battlefront not preloading them properly after the 25th. This is a great lead for finxing the problem, I say. But our resident programmers should focus on porting our stuff to swbf two.
