How do you make the droideka shield riple when shot at, like in swbf2? Thanks

you would have to make a new effect and add it to every weapon odf in the shield effect line, i think.

Does the swbf2 shield have a effect file?

the effect is there but i dont think you can use it properly since there is no impacteffectsheild line in swbf1 odfs

yeah, but you could add the effect in the weapon odf. and in swbf 2 theres no line for explosion in the droideka shield odf. but no different effect for shield in the weapon odf..

When I added the effect to the weapon odf the ripples are flat ie. do not follow the curve of the shield. I don't understand how it works in swbf2 maybe it is hard coded?

in swbf 2 they only follow the shield of the droideka, if you would attach a shield to a normal unit they wouldnt follow. theyre extra made for the droideka shield. you tested it on a swbf 1 droideka?

Yeah probably. I searched the entire swbf2 assets folder and I only found 2 effects for a shield I think they are both for the space ship shield. I can't find the droideka shield effect.
