Question about making unit (cloth, sv, lowrez) [Solved]

Hello, I have some questions about making unit.

Where should I put shadowvolume? (I know the lowrez is under DummyRoot.)

I'm going to make unit's cloth. When you make cloth, you make collisions at unit's body, but not at the cloth, right?

What is "at rest" position ? Also, I couldn't understand this point:
Is there something special to make skirts? I'm going to make Ahsoka's skirt.

And how should I make lowrez and shadowvolume with cloth?
This is the process of my idea to make shadowvolume and lowrez with cloth.
1, envelop and make collision at her whole body 2, envelop each cloth respectively and use pandemic tool for cloth(skirt, belt, hood, robe, beads, etc...)
3, duplicate the unit two times(with cloth?) for lowrez and sv ( so it means, both lowrez and sv have bones)
Should I merge cloth and Ahsoka's polymesh to one polymesh when making sv & lowrez? I don't know how to do about cloth when making sv(and lowrez)
Or should I seperate them and make cloth's shadowvolume?
4, make sv by deleting unneccesary points or edges ( and go to Model > Get > Material > Unassign Material ?)
5, hide sv and put it under the DummyRoot with Ahsoka's polymesh and cloths(or under Ahsoka's polymesh?)
6, middle click on DummyRoot and export Ahsoka's polymesh, cloths, shadowvolume
next is making lowrez
7, delete unneccesay points or edges of Ahsoka's polymesh
8, also make low poly of cloths 9, make their shadowvolume by duplicate lowrez of polymesh and cloth (and go to Unassain Material ?)
10 put lowrez of polymesh and cloth (and their shadowvolume) under the root and export (before it, delete original polymesh)
So, lowrez will be same process with original one except deleting points and edges.
how is this? I think something wrong...

I'm going to use tentacles at hear head.
Right, left side and back. I will use 3 -4 nulls at each tentacles. (so null's total is 9-12)
This is tentacles tutorial, but tutorial link (HERE) doesn't working. I want you to repair if you can:

And I'm going to make collision around them. Is it better to make collision at each nulls of tentacles and put them at each children in explorer window? Or make one collision and put it children of highest null of the tentacle? (I thought first one is better.)
When I want to use a hood on her head, it requires collisions at her head, right (not at hood)? Also, I will use her beads as a cloth(you can see them above her head), do I need collision at beads? I thought, if I want to use a hood, hood and beads might collide with each other. Or should I treat beads as tentacles?
Some questions might be difficult to understand, so please tell me if you need different explanations. I don't know what should do about cloth when making shadowvolume and lowrez.

Mike Zaimont (aka PAN-Fnord from Pandemic) claimed wrap around cloth geometry(sleeves, skirts, etc) would split ingame, but FragMe! has since discovered this is due to the arrangement of the UVs on the texture, here's an excerpt from the source post:
