What about... Darth Malak with Boba Fett's sholder cape?

hiya, i was wondering if anyone elses game crashes to desktop when loading this level with these models in?

The way RepSharpshooter has it set up in the download files makes it dependent on loading the rep_inf_ep3sniper in the LUA, but you can fix this by changing which mesh the kama calls for in the cloth ODF from:
attachedmesh = rep_inf_ep3sniper
to:
attachedmesh = rep_inf_ep3trooper
or whatever the mesh is that you're using.
I hex edited the mesh even further to make it completely independent from everything and it works fine.

Yeah I chose the lazy way and just read the sniper in the lua. It was just a lot easier. Then to have different capes I just hex-edited the texture name.

I think the shoulder cape did some weird thing, I'm not sure I'll have to check.

Could you probably make a rebel-soldier and a scout with ep3-sniper-kama ?

I'd say try my tutorial first. If you can't do it, maybe, reluctantly, I'll make it.

Also, as I try and put together different things, I've found out some are incompatible:
luke + duku cape
clone + obiwan skirt

These produce a weird effect where the cape is expanded, it probably has something to do with each units having different bones or whatnot.

They are assets, you can only use them if you are making your own mod/map. If you knew that, then go read the documents that came with the modtools. If you didn't know it and didn't intend to mod yourself, then step away from the files as they are useless to you.
