There is that once and a while where we get truly unique, interesting, non-clone skins. These skins obviously have had lots of time and effort put into them, and that is what makes them high-quality and unique.

Null_1138 has achieved this status.

Its not possible to put that on there. That part of the X-wing texture is only about 5 pixels wide.

Even though it is only 5 pixels wide, I say at least give it a shot and see what it looks like.

Riv Shiel's x-wing has red/orange on it, yours is white. Other then that, those are awesome.

It's been a while for me too, but not so long that I didn't have Wookieepedia as a refresher. The skins look nice, but as far as I remember they only had them painted in nonstandard colors for their short stint as an "unaligned" squadron (in the book "The Bacta War"). No real pictures exist for most of the fighters (those reference pictures are just from someone else's mod, and they're the product of their imagination). Wedge's X-Wing fits his written description well enough (checkered green-and-gold-and-black) while Tycho's X-Wing doesn't (colors of the Alderaanian Guard). Corran's X-Wing is the exception in that it's always been personally owned by him and it's had an unusual paint scheme, but your reference has it wrong (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Cor ... In any case, the retextures may just be an exercise in doing something different (which is A-OK), but keep in mind that what you're doing is copying from a non-official source.

I understand that, I was just trying something new and seeing how it went.

Now, I won't go any further than quoting some descriptions in The Bacta War. But I do see where the FotG mod guys got some of their references.

These are my first serious skins... Please give me some feed back. If you like them, Ill give you the Texture. This is just the trooper skin, but if you like the stlye and colour scheme, then I will make the heavy/sniper/engineer/commander and jet trooper versions...
