Annoying terrain munge crash.

Seems like a pretty common issue but i can never seem to find a topic on here where this problem was resolved.

I wanted to a make my terrain larger to fit capital ships a la the seemingly endless terrain in the Capital strike maps. I created a new terrain (a huge one, 2048 x 2048 ) and applied one of the stock yavin textures (yav2_main_1) and adjusted the heights (made a mountainous barrier around the main part of the map).

So i munge my map and the terrainmunge.exe crashes. and i get these mungelog errors:
Hidden/Spoiler:
ERROR[levelpack IDK.req]:Expecting bracket, but none was found.
File : munged\pc\idk.terrain.req(1)...

I also noticed after i munge it leaves .REQ files named abc.lvl in data_"abc"\BUILD\worlds\"abc", data_"ABC"\LVL_PC\"ABC", and addon\"ABC"\data\LVL_PC\"ABC" folders. This obviously should not happen.

The map loads fine in battlefront but you can't spawn and all terrain, sky, and objects seem to be missing.

I've found multiple threads on here with the same issue but they all lead to nowhere.

What could i be doing wrong?

The default terrain is 128 x 128, and that's still quite large. 2048 x 2048 might be overkill, so try something smaller to see if it doesn't crash anymore.

As with what AQT said; try 512x512 first, then 1024 if it works. You don't need 2048, trust me, been there, done that.

Unless you make some sort of racing map with super fast vehicles for high adrenaline racing and flying tauntauns...

Well, it looks like I'm going to make this now...
