i was just wondering how do you make your own custom sky????

To put it in the simplest terms, all you really have to do is reskin the sky_yav2.tga that is in your data_XXX/worlds/XXX/world1 folder with either GIMP (which is free for download, there's a link in the everything you need thread) or Photoshop if you already have it bought.
However, the more complicated way, if you want to use a different domemodel, you can just copy one of the ones from assets, and reskin the texture that goes with it, and then fix up your map's sky file (XXX.sky) to use the other domemodel/texture. The sky is actually a model, basically a sphere, with the inside textured to the sky texture, and it stretches across the map. The default yavin one is just a half sphere, and doesn't cover any sky below the horizon, in assets there are different domemodels with different shapes, some are roughly a sphere, some are cone shaped at the bottom, there's lots to choose from.

Thanks... i wasnt sure if the sky needed to be edited in a special editor or not..... =D now me can get to work lol
