I have the first game

loved it.

when this was released in the first of the year I didn't have the money to buy it so since the price has gone down I was thinking of getting it

most of what I have read about it have said that it is very much the same and I was wondering what you guys thought about and is it worth 30$ to get

to tell you the truth, KotOR 1 was twice as good as KotOR 2. I played KotOR 1 3 times in a row before i got bored. I played KotOR 2 1 and a half times before i got bored. Although the storyline of KotOR 2 sucks, I like it just because you can be a way more powerful jedi. In the first one, you can only unlock like 1/3 of all the force powers. In this one, you start out as a jedi and can unlock 2/3+ of all the force powers. I like the game just because of that, how you can become a very powerful jedi and own everyone. Even though it kinda sucked, if you loved KotOR 1 then you should get it.

Yeah I got it in February because thats when it came out.

KoTOR II is tons better than 1. I have both, and 2 adds a lot more features, plus all the bugs have been fixed.

KOTOR 1 is still the greatest game of all time IMO.

KOTOR 2 is good but not as good as the original.

KOTOR 1 10/10 SUPERB Storyline , gameplay , characters . SUPERB EVERYTHING!

KOTOR 2 8/10 ...would be 9 if the sith werent so crap and the ending was better. It was good but the storyline could have been better.



Man , I wish id never played KOTOR 1 cos now I cant play it again for the 1st time ,plus no other game will beat it IMO....not untill KOTOR 3 I hope

Talking of Star Wars : KotOR II, do you know that many stuffs have been cut off from its final release, and that a "restoration project" has been launched ?

Unfortunately, no... Indeed, Obsidian has never wished to restore KotOR II or fix its numerous glitches through "complete" patchs... So, only the modding communities (Especially LucasForums's) can follow this (sinuous) way...

The characters were cool (especially Nihilius) but they were SOO easy to kill.

Yes, I've heard there's one named "Hanharr" in KotOR II... (In fact, he replaces Zalbar, since this one has been killed in KotOR, if you have followed the Dark Side's path...)

Hanharr isn't on your team... in fact he proves quite an annoying foe.

You have to be very strong in the dark side to get Hanharr (i looked it up)

Really ? Also, do you know what Character replaces him if you follow the Light Side's way ?
