Low-rez not working

Well, I have taken an object off of the death star map in hopes to use it on a naboo map. I've set down a couple and tested them in game only to find they disappear once I get a ways away from them. I tampered with the farscenerange in order to counter this, but still at the same distance they disappear. I've forgotten quite a bit about messing with the sky file, so does anyone have an answer to how I can fix the distance problem?

Hmmmm thats weird. I wonder if PAN made the meshes different because they knew you would never be seeing them from far off. (since its in a room)
I am pretty sure you change the 40 for Z view distance. Z = forwad backward sight.
NearSceneRange(30.0, 160.0, 40.0, 200.0);

Hmm, well according to the sticky, It says that farscenerange should fix it. My sky file is set to a farscene of 7000, however my object gives out at 500. I'm going to try tampering with the low-res files, mabye I can get something.
