I think you should just change 2 things on the clone side. Make the regular clone trooper an ep 3 trooper, and give the clone with the chain gun the other purple snow clone skin.

uhm... A: the regular clone trooper becoming a ep 3 clone, no, b/c these are ELITE sides, not regular sides, and B: giving the commander the snow clone skin, no, I prefer the red ARC

You could make the Magna Guard an actual downloadable unit and could simply rename it to an IBC Melee Droid. Maybe a new skin...Anyway, I think they'd make a really nice unit and I had a fun time playing as it.

I have a similar mod except it's EP3 era and it needs localization... didn't think it was possible...

I know, but still... you can't even tell you're firing them. They seem to appear about three feet in front of the barrel of the gun...

OK!

First, all melee weapons are localized as "lightsaber" NOTE: if you have all_weap_inf_lightsabre in the cis folder and all_weap_inf_lightsaber in the all folder, that's fine. but having all_weap_inf_lightsaber in BOTH the cis and rep folders is not fine.

Second, the Blaster Cannon localization is quit useful in CW era, as both blast cannons come from the GCW era.

Third, The T21 is localized as "Projectile Cannon", a.k.a., rep_weap_walk_atte_cannon.ord :P found that baby out by myself (and by accident)

Fourth, tho you may not remember, the Recon Droid's secondary weapon is actually localized as Orbital Strike. So, I just renamed my Orbital Strike odf's to rep/all/cis/imp_weap_inf_remotedroid_destruct.odf and PPOOOOFF Nice way to insta-localize.

Units can't be localized without major hex-editing, and therefore are generally left alone.

Also, If you ever run out of "lightsaber's" per era (5 in all, all/cis/imp/rep_weap_lightsaber, and all_weap_lightsaber_blue), you can always add "tribal spear" from the ewok sides folder.

Localization is a fun thing to experiment with, and right now I'm trying to find a replacement for "force push," as none of the force powers are localized :? Force lightning would be easy as DN Bolt Caster, but the others, not so easy...
