Will the missions be like BF2? Where it makes you go step by step?
Or will it be more like the BF1 way?

BF2 has more lua commands meaning more of the possibilities like Conquest CTF and assault. Bf1 might or may not have those lua commands but so far nobody has done anything like bf2

I'm giving you guys two questions with different options. pick 1

should I make auto-turrets/deployable turrets for engineer units?
a. yes
b. no

2. If i can get it to work, should i make certain vehicles have positions that are auto-piloted? (It works, but I need to make sure it fully works).
a. yes
b. no

If i decided to have autopiloted vehicles i would give certain vehicle positions auto-pilot.

for example. an AAT might have:
Pilot: Laser CAnnon
Auto-Pilot: Missiles
Secondary Gunner: Mortar Launcher
Main Gunner: Turret Cannon

and an AT-AT could end up like this
Pilot: Heavy Cannon, Concussion Missiles
Auto-Pilot: Light blaster,
3 Passengers

If I can get it to work, and if I can get Dragonum's permission, I'm going to include a BF1 conversion of his BF2 [ML] Kashyyyk map.

as to you second post, i don't exactly understand what you are asking.

What I am asking is, will we be able to play the Thrule map. (don't know how to spell it.)

yes you will. And you will have two installation options (this isn't a poll, but rather the options for installation that you will have when you install the mod)

1. keeps Naboo Plains and Kashyyyk Docks in instant action

2. Replaces with Naboo Prototype and Kashyyyk Beachead conversion for instant action (but will keep them for campaign and mission maps)

The second option will not delete anything but will just be a change in 2 files (mission and core.lvl)

I will also change Kamino so that you can fly in aircraft.

and some updates from the mod so far
-Due to a change of opinion, I am including commander cody as the 212th's commander/jet unit in the mod. his weapons: DC-15A Blaster Rifle x500, DC-17 Pistol, Multi-Purpose Grenade x6, Orbital Strike. (the multi purpose grenade: press once to drop a thermal detonator, hold down until halfway charged to toss a sonic detonator and hold down until full to hurl an EMp grenade really far)

I still need to figure out how to get rid of the snow on the new GEonosis map as the new map was built off of the stock hoth map, and heavily edited to be a geonosis map (ie. replacing all the turrets with geonosian blasters, retexturing anything that was snow-colored to geonosis-textured, remaking spawn points, etc. But this mod is very close to being done and I hope to have it out soon.

So how soon then do you think you have the mod out?

Also I noticed the jet trooper has a new weapon, what is it?
And in the next update can you show us Cody?
Is that DC-15A a new model you made?

BUT i cannot play because i didn't have bf 1. but a friend of me has.
but he didn't want to modificat his game. can you play heros??

when you say the saber isn't good here, are you talking about the color, or the fact that the laser is hanging in midair off the hilt, or both?

ok i'll try fixing that. The thing is, that all the lightsabers that I have seen in SWBF 1 are that way.

and the only heroes you can play as are:
Cody
Gree
Admiral Thrawn
Chewbacca
ep4 Old Obi-Wan
a Jedi that looks a bit like Jerec but isn't Jerec
Shadow Guard

EDIT
there are some features of the mod that you should be aware of.
Blaster Rifles and Carbine Rifles
Rifles are all fast firing and kill in three hits. the bullets/lasers explode on impact and if you are hit by one, you are knocked over and usually get killed before your unit can recover and start shooting again. This makes gameplay really hard when you play in easy mode. Some Rifles are slower-firing and/or singleshot. these kill in two hits usually. and a few are laser-based and don't knock you over. this is purely for balance

Both blaster Rifles and Carbines can knock your unit down. but 2 rifles don't: E-11 Carbine, and the E-5 Blaster Rifle, mostly for the sake of balance. and yes Jedi are occasionally playable.
