If your refering to the JA model in the conversion pack, yes I exported it. I did not lower the poly count though. I belive the version Teancum sent me had a lower detail but the poly count was still very high.
I'm not quite sure why it worked, usally stuff with that tolerance has missing polys in-game.

You're sure about that? If I'm not mistaken heconveretd Neomarz's model which was made for JKA...
I don't recall Vyse making/reskinning it based on the Template...

(Maybe I missed it somewhere?

that is odd, I am talking about the JKA model, although i have given up modding battlefront 2 seeing as i can't export anything.

There was two commando models. One was made by Neomarz for JKA and Vyse made one for BF1 and 2.

no i don't have softimage xsi i only have the mod tools
I don't want to pay for xsi 5 seeing as i already have Lightwave 3d 8.0 and have no money to spare.

lol - I remember it now!

totally forgot about it because it said it was a 'beta'
So did you get the answers you needed? I guess I could lower the polycount on the model tean' sent to me a long time ago - the same as Vyse converted.
