Can someone explain to me how beacons work or add the info to the modding Wiki?

Beacons? I don't even know what they are. -- in relation to SWBF that is.

I was wondering if a beacon provies its location to whatever is using it. Instead, it seems to call the attack on itself. Thanks for the help
