I did not make the model myself, It was made on google sketchup by abdyla.

I am giving it completly new animations and a new skeleton to become a playable unit. (It will have a big purpose in an tatoine mod im making)

Also, since it has 4 legs im not sure what to name the other legs, but since acklay has 6 it should be something.

And also, since im making a new skeleton and all, will the collision be wierd? if it is i dont think there is a point in continuing...

for me, your image is a little box with an X in it... might want to fix that (unless its only me)

I would be surprised if that is an original model at all. It looks like it (and its texture) was ripped directly from Galaxies. This would not be a first for this user (or so I would assume), as I believe a user by the same name here has tried passing off commercial models as "his."

So would this model be ok to use? If not i will stop continuing it now

May I see the link to the model at the 3D Warehouse?

(There are some differences between this model and the one Mav just displayed, mainly around the head)

It is the same one from SW Galaxies, abdyla states it under the model "Krayt Dragon из SWG" plus I just compared the two models and their textures and they are all identical. I wouldn't continue with this particular model since it is ripped straight from another game much like 90% of the models in abdyla's SketchUp Warehouse collection which consist of models from Galaxies, The Force Unleashed, Republic Commando and Empire at War as well as some community made assets by Gametoast members.
It would be best if you modeled a new Krayt dragon to work with then there would be no question of rights to use.

alright, 90% of useable-in-games-models on warehouse are ripped but that he releases community-made models is so $@({ing awfull!! can we do anyting against it?

You can locate the model of concern and click on the "Report a policy violation" link under the lower left of the model being displayed then fill in the form on the next page and they might remove it from the collection.

Actually we can just for now report all illegal models with the "report a violation of the rules" link. It's big because there are over 300 illegal models, so it will be long... but do-able.

Every single one of those models are from TFU, TFU2, JKA, BF1, BF2, EAW, SWG or comunity made models from JKA,BF1, BF2, EAW.

This guy totally sucks.

I CAN ONLY AGREE! the models are great an i just found a Rogue Shadow(the orginal from tfu)with textures, but i don´t want to stael a model and sy it was mine. i think a modder(modeler) should do it himself, to be proud of the own work :maulsaber:

I converted many many models, and did even make a couple myself, and tbh seeing my own work ingame pleases me much more than just having converted something.
