little problem with ground texture :)

hi, i have downloaded " der nachtfalke`s " Geonosis:Battlefield and i realy liked the ground... i tried to "copy" it for my map and in zero editor it looked exatly like the original. but ingame its ORANGE

the geonosis texture is still there but its orange.
dont understand... maybe you know what happened

See if setting your ingame lighting settings higher changes the way it looks. Usually, setting them higher will make the ground look darker.

but everything ingame is ok.. the objects, the units, everything is fine just this Diet Dr. Pepper ground is orange

didn´t work now the ground looks a bit more like geonosis but my clones are black ^^

you could also try burning the terrain

You obviously haven't read the documentation, like has been suggested. Go read the ZeroEditor_guide.doc, it covers what you're asking.

ADVANCED
The advanced controls include TERRAIN, for creating a new terrain file; CAMERA, for changing the Fog Range and Sky Visibility as it appears in the editor only and provide a button for snapping the camera to a top down satellite view; IMAGE, for saving pictures of the terrain as a HEIGHTMAP or HIRESMAP for use in creating in game maps and low res terrain textures for use in game, as well as BURN TERRAIN, which utilizes the heightmap to burn shadows into the terrain.
It tells you how to do it and what it means.
