1. I have got water ingame, but for some reason it blinks. how do you fix this?
2. how do you change the name of units, and any other writing ingame?
3. how do you skin rebels? or anybody with a human face for that matter, cause i skinned the clothing, and the body comes out black.

I think your #7 answers your #5.

I think smilies are disabled for non admins/mods. Am I right?

I'm going to say this as directly as I can. 85% of your questions are answered either in the FAQ/Everything You Need thread or in the docs. You are expected to read them, all of us did.

ya i did. thats how i got water ingame. the tuts i read said nothing about disapearing and reapearing water...

1. No idea, sorry.
2. EditLocalize.bat in Data_ABC
3. Something about how you skined it was wrong, was RLE turned off?
4. Just open it, and start skining, visual munge will make the changes, as long as you save the skin right.
5. Guru was moving Gametoast to a new server, or adding new ones, something like that.

You can still do this:

Im no expert with water stuff but u might have put two bits of water in 1 place if thats possible. Try gettin rid of the water then re-adding it.
