Can you put a sign that says "STARWARSFREAK is a noob!" Remember he tried to destroy the GT forces.

Can you put some kind of supersoldier called ML_916 on the republic or rebels side (if there's a GT side he should be on that one)? That would be so awesome (and a great GT world takeover reference).

ML_916, the defender of Scandinavia (ok, Talibanman was great in the defense too, LoL).

Oh Oh Oh can I get my own house? :D (In other words, could you put an Emperor prop somewhere, like you placed Guru  (place the normal odf and I'll even be killable and have anims!))

If people including me are pissing you off with all these requests, just say so :P

its not pissing me off lol, I do want GT refrences, but I don't intend to replace everyone with everything. ;)
However the emperor idea is itreaging, the thing is, last few times I tryed to place a units odf, it looks... streched, and bent up, like a crumpled peice of paper, but If I can figure out how I would hide an emperor in the map.
though I may just ask Qdin to make me a stationary Emperor. :D you don't move much right?

I suffer from short periods of hyperactivity. Other than that, I don't move much ;) :D
Qdin knows how to spawn regular troopers too. He may be a silly monkey, but he knows stuff.

I think the regular Emperor would be good 'cuz he floats. "If" The_Emperor were to move, he'd float. He's too lazy to walk :P

We need a large dohnut lying around. Or a poster of Dohnutman. Pleeeease?

All that take is for eather you, or me to find someone who can make a large dohnut. I even have a nice spot for something like that. If that fails yea I would just stick dohnutt man on a poster.

This is a download for Norfolk & Western J-class Northern 4-8-4 #611 steam locomotive - the best one ever! :D (Its a Train simulator mod model)

I'm having trouble figuring out where the models are but I know they are in there because I found the skins for them. Believe it or not, some of the skins are TGA files and those that aren't can be opened with GIMP and converted to TGA :)

So its a train model that works for BF2? sweet!

Edit: all I get is some website about trains, that links to ALOT of other train sites. :?

Wow, that Elmo is creepily good. It just needs a waaaay better texture.

...But then again it wouldn't really fit the map theme :P

Lol it would scare me to put barney in a map, even I can only take so much random. :D
Besides I don't want to journey to that dark hole of the internet, where the barney models are kept. o.0

The only reason Elmo is in this map is 'cuz... *drumroll* Elmo! (He's a member here if you didn't know.)

@Caleb - :o Very nice. Can't wait to see my donut in action. Or not action. Anyways, large donuts ftw! Correction -- Large, sprinkled, iced, donuts ftw! :)

No you see the skins work for BF2. Some of them are TGA files and if the skins aren't TGA files, GIMP can convert them to TGA for you. I don't know what format the models are in (I'm sure XSI or that 3d program can convert it or even using various other programs to convert it through a variety of formats to get it to msh).

Ok, instead of clicking on this link, copy and paste it in the URL bar

http://www.railserve.com/jump/jump.cgi?ID=14382

:?

PS: How do you open those .ace files? :|

===============

-[EDIT]-

Oh and here's a link to a locomotive that has TGA files and other GIMP compatible images without the requirment to unzip ACE files. I can't seem to find the models though. :?

http://www.railserve.com/jump/jump.cgi?ID=8511

-[EDIT2]-

I've got it figured out now. You click that second dowload link and it gives you a ZIP file and an EXE install application and some readmes. Open up the ZIP file and you will find the skins. Open the EXE files and a small unzipping program will start running. Click 'unzip' and it will open up a new folder. Open up TRAINS --> TRAINSET --> MIKADO. You will then end up with some .ace files. Since they are nowhere else, I have to assume that the models are zipped up in here (although I can't open them :x ) .If you know anything about trains, you know that each one of these sets of .ace files stands for a part of the locomotive (think of it like chunks). If you unzip an .ace file then you've unzipped a chunk of the locomotive. The S, SD, WAG, etc. files are probably the equivalent of the msh.option files in BF2. So once, we figure out how to open the .ace files, we can convert them to msh and convert the skins to TGA and....BINGO!! :D

Alrighty, I have an update:
Epena wrote:Wow, that Elmo is creepily good. It just needs a waaaay better texture.
First off I made the main elmo texture alittle more... grainy?
Image
I Admit, it does look better, thanks for the statment Epena.

Next, Thanks to Qdin, there will be a dohnut in the map.
Thanks to him for the model. (I skined it all by myself :D )
Image
I'm working on giving the brown parts some kind of texture, something to make it look more crumbly, and dohnut like.

Also, I've been working with the Hintnodes, and they are almost done.
brokenshard_of_glass wrote:Caleb, could you PM me the link to those exploding barrels?
If you don't mind I'll just post it here for you.
http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.co ... Pack;41091
Its a nice pack, althogh some stuff in it do not have odfs, but their pretty easy to make. If you use the pack make sure to credit Saturn V, or Saturn Labs.

Now I'm going to work on CTF which is Kinda weird at this point.
A public Beta will be released soon.

I'm Working on the Emperor. ;)
Somehow I get the feeling the monkey's name begins with Q.

As for you Brokenshard_of_glass, I put a window in that you can break. :)
Infact, since its the only window in the map, I'll probably put more it, lots of windows.
