psych0fred wrote:Once you have SWBF2 you can extract it's assets and try using them in your BF1 mods. I suspect you'll be able to use a lot. Master the mod tools from BF1 and you won't regret it. I still plan on building out the tools as well mods as demonstrations as well as for play.

Sounds good to me.

boba... boba.. boba... so young, so new... and so impatient :P

start mapping - and then try to modificate your .odf's in the map

XSI isnt just modelling - well, it depends on if you're creating a vehicle or something that doesnt move

Fred, thanks for your answers about my model

and about your Boba Fett model, is it using the in-game animations, or are you using some animations which is homemade...?

is it possible to get a screenshot of the bones in Wireframe in XSI? It'll help a lot of people to understand the bones better :P

I was looking at psych0fred's site and saw that he made a major update.
http://www.secretsociety.com/forum/down ... 0Projects/
There's a lot of new screens regarding skeletal animations and unit MSHs (hint hint), as well as two SWBF2 screens (one's already made GT's pic of the week: The princess joins the hitler movement!).

Chain Isle. Woo. What is that song in the background?

I look forward to armoury. I read it somewhere but forget, what do you plan to do with the dwarf spider droid? I don''t know how big it is, but it could maybe be a special unit like to replace droideka, or a vehicle(but it's probably too small). I just think seeing it as a turret would be wierd.

I love DSDs. >>;

If you look at the energy shell launchers at the bottom, you can see the tube and launchers were modeled (the shipped AAt had black spots painted on). Psych0fred, you mentioned you might be able to get the Hovernaut working. Any luck with that yet? Sorry I'm so impatient, but that's my favorite vehicle.

I was planning on attempting to add launchers to the AAT but was unsure if there were hp_fire points on the model or not....

Thats right :) all the Star Wars Clone Wars maps were also made with BFBuilder (i watched the making-of video's) It would be kewl to see those maps made for SWBF once SWBF2 is released (**hint**hint**) :)
