I was never amazed at Standoff in the first place, I thought it was the least coolest map in the Heroic map pack.

1. Don't use the Assault Rifle.

While using the Assault Rifle may seem like a good idea, remember that its rate of fire is fully automatic, and that it works well in CQB. This is not what skilled players do. You don't want all the cool kids laughing at you for not using a BR like a true skilled player, right?

2. Don't use power weapons, except for the Sniper Rifle.

The Sword, Rocket Launcher, Shotgun, and pretty much any other power weapon will get kills very easily. You should avoid these at all costs, unless you want to look like a n00b. They will steal valuable kills from people using the only weapons that take skill to use, like the BR and Sniper.

3. Don't play social playlists.

This one is short, sweet, and simple. Social playlist are meant for fun. You're not out there to have fun, you're out there to win. Games aren't made for fun in the first place, what were these people thinking?

4. Use effective trash talk.

Nothing is more important than winning. But if you do lose, be sure to use your eloquent speaking skills, and every word in your vocabulary is fair game. Take this line, for example.

"-blam!- you you -blam!- -blam!-! I would -blam!- you up 1v1 I'm the best! You bought your -blam!- account you -blam!- -blam!-!!!!"

Or simply this witty, original quip.

"YOUR MOM!"

Be sure to disconnect immediately after saying what you have to say, because this leaves them no time to say anything back. This automatically means you win every argument.
