Bounty Hunters: rebel outpost beta test

Please post any bugs here in this thread.
Changes since betatest release:
- Correct Camerashots added
- Correct IG-88 Droid DM models added (thanks to Saturn5)
- Imp Hero bonus voice deleted
- Gunship DM settings lowered
- Missing watertile added
- terrain bumpmap texture changed
- gianspeeder moved inside battlefield
- replaced the rebel transport with a better model. Collision detection is way better now.
- terrainheight corrections
- Minimap added
Movie will be included in the final version.
Known Issues:
- When using IG-88 Droid grapplinghook the screen flicker between ingame and character selection screen in multiplayer.(hardcoded unfixable for me)
- Gamorrean turn Shields on/off if throwing grenades. ( unfixable because i think that the droideka shield was made and tested as single secondary weapon without supporting greanades.)

Let me be the first to point out some bugs.
On top of some derelicts the models aren't solid. You just drop through, sometimes almost disappearing.
Using the speeder or tank it's not always possible to ge between the support legs of the scaffolding. There is enough room to ge between but it just won't let you. (probably a boundary problem)

Yes there is a problem with the transport ship and the falcons. The collision boxes are very basic and doesn´t fit to the shipp shells.
This might be fixed in the final release or not. No promises here but i will do my best to send a better collision model to saturnV so he can incorporate them to the msh files.

Hm, it´s not that what i call lot of feedback.
Lack of interest? Seems that Bounty Hunters are not that much interesting then regular troops.
Ok, this will be my last BH map then. I will finish the map then.
It might be possible to replace the bounty hunters with stormtroopers and release them as another map too if someone is interested.

Ok, time for review.
First of all I want to congratulate you on the best use of fog I have seen in this game, second of all, I applaud your use of the Kamino sky. Getting those aside, I have to heap on more praise, as this is one of the most well put together maps I have played yet... It has plenty of variety, yet it all comes together perfectly into the most beautiful map I have played yet.
My only suggestion is not related to the map itself, but it's side files, I suggest you either decrease the delay time on IG-88's grappling hook, or increase it's range.

But admit is, you can't expect 10 pages of comments in just 24 hours. Some people come here only once a week or even play just once a week. Before yesterday it was atleast a week since my last visit to GameToast and I'm certain I'm noy unique.
In other words: give it some time for people to react and in the mean time keep promoting the map.

i have an idea for some maps if you make more.
1:there would be a driod level in a driod drop ship(one of the ones in naboo phamtom mence map). it would be cool if it was crashed or something. there would be alot of vechles useable for both factions.
2:boba or jango fett (depending on the era) for a hero
3:a bounty hunter base on kasyyyke. there would be BH & droids vs. clones, jedi, and wookies.
these are juct suggestions(i new to posting) but they'ed kick Diet Dr. Pepper.

i have been playing you map alot. BH are SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. not only is the faction great but this is also one of the best maps i've played. it would be good if you could put another ship in it besides a gunship. maybe saturn's tie intercepter?one glich i noticed was when i was driving a speeder past a redel ship i fell through the ground. you also put a speeder out side of the battle feild.

maybe u should make that u're next map

Rends! My moouth was open the whole time i played this map! The fog is pure evil.... this is the dead graveyard of all ships from battles i see? Amazing, the Gamos with shields! The bounty hunters are great, the reb when put on hard seemed to outwite everyplayer and take the cp everytime!
This map out effects any map and be sure to have a Ultra HIgh end pc if you dare to MP this one!
was tested on a 3.2Ghz , with 2 gigs ram and 256 Ati All In Wonder, and this map bogs the pc when serving up maps....could have been Darthslarrious "out in the woods internet" LOL.
Rends if you stop making these maps, welll....it would suck! Keep up the fantastic job and dont be let down when your work feels thankless.... sometimes i post on here and nothing gets a repsonse for days , then all of sudden things are 25 replies lol. YOu roxxor!

Great job, this is by far the most original map I have seen yet. I really love the bounty hunter ones, and I am extremely glad to see that the bespin map was just the beginning. Excellent refinements on the characters are visible. Other than some of the crashed ship models being annoying in their shape that blocks fire through thin air, it's dang good, and almost finished.

At the moment i try to fix the Transport ship in XSI but it´s in a very bad shape. Saturn warned me about it but i hope to fix the collision problem. I may also move the speeder inside the battlefield.
About the story: The moon is a scrapyard filled with old ships and vehicles from the clonewar years. The Rebel use em now as a small secret base to record Imperial activity in the area. I would like to add the Planet Coruscant to the sky but not sure if it would fit to the EU. Maybe someone knows more.
