Sketchup > Inventor. That's all I know.

Anyway, another tatooine building, this one's a tower. Who knows how long I spent on this thing.

Gah! Quit taunting me! I tried sketchup and couldn't do [Diet Dr. Pepper] due to the interface being too easy! (Anyone ever experience that, where something's so easy, you can't do it?)

lol, not sure what you mean by so easy you can't do it. It takes practice. :P

I've tried. It's like playing Guitar Hero on hard and going back to easy and failing because everything is too slow. Ever done that? lol, happens all the time to me.

Fluffy, a good tip for Sketchup is to use the constraints to your advantage. Notice when your line is parallel to a colored axis line, you get a dotted line of the same color? I love that, for without it, good stuff in Sketchup wouldn't be possible. Just play around with the tools. Even I can't figure out the "follow me" tool to make a sphere :| .

Just practice.

And about GH, I know exactly what you mean. I hate when I play, stop, then everything I see is moving upward  .

Ontopic: I made a ship model a while ago, but it got erased by the virus :cpu: . This pic is all I have to remember it by:

For the WWII project? Cool, its nice and simple. *Looks back* Oh wait, the middle must have taken a while.

About the ship, I actually made a small lego version first. I decided to go into Sketchup and make it, but it was so disproportionate. Cockpit was half as big as it should have been, which made it look like a behemoth.

Here's another one I made. It's called the panzerschreck It may looks like a really easy thing to make, but this is one of the toughtest projects I have ever done in sketchup. :faint: I still have to do some toutch up details with textures and stuff. It's a anti-tank gun used by the germans in WW2.

EDIT: Ok, it is WIP.

It looks good, but some details are missing. Notice the back has some sort tail rather than another cylinder. Man, now I want to make one. I'll post some more Tatooine models when I get pics.

The front part needs work too, and I think there was a thing in the middle part. Jk, obiboba. I know what you mean  .

Ok, now I that I am done with the actual modeling, minus a detail her and there, finished the Opel Blitz. It's a german transport vehicle used in WW2. I still need somebody to make texture, but tell me what you think.

Sure, Fett. PM me so I know how to send it to you, cause I don't have XFire. I also changed it slightly, nothing major though.

EDIT: Here's what it looks like now (basically, I rotated the roof, and added chamfers on the outside, that's it.)
