Anyone have some GIMPbashes? I'd like a few that look like new weapons, actually, not ones that resemble SWBF2 ones. I have a few good ones, and I've made those already, but anyone have some more?

If possible, could you make the heads proper sized, like make em smaller?

So...where, in yours, do you hold it? And which is the business end?

Fiodis, you should make a topic for GIMPbashes.

What? Why? As far as I know there isn't any rule against asking for them like any other request in this thread. So it's ok if I ask for them here, right?

Ahhh, yes, you never specified that you wouldn't take new player models, now did you?

Forgive me. It's just that roughly all one hundred of the ones I recieved in the past were weapons, and I only mentioned a preference for weaponry, and I forgot to mentioned that playermodel Kitbashes are extremely difficult to follow through on, and impossible if you don't have the full version of XSI, which I don't.

fiodis, it's actually easy to do player model kitbashes. You culd import anakin into XSI, chop off his head, and then make it an addon msh. Then you could apply transparency to Fett's head and hexedit Anakin's head onto fett.

Ah, that way is a lot easier than what I had in mind.

I'll refine my request to weapon GIMPbashes, to avoid any further confusion.

That's a sloppy way to do it and you will get less-than-optimal results if you do. If you add a transparency flag to a whole MODL chunk but only give part of that chunk transparency, anytime you're nearby something else with transparency (i.e. command posts, lightsabers, prop models, etc.) you'll see through your unit. It looks very sloppy.

Well, then there's also that method where you shrink the head. but I don't know how to do that.

That would be back to making a new model. If you're trying to edit something that is just part of one larger (single) MODL chunk, you need to reexport the model to do it right.

I thought that you could scale just the head via msh.option... oh well.

I'd guess a sniper, alliance maybe? I'm more curious about the butt-end, the hulking mass behind the trigger.
