When I choose installed maps on the Instant Action map list, it shows odd names for them. For example, Battle over Coruscant shows up as BOC followed by some strange symbols. Any ideas?

And yes, this is for every map.

I also seem to be having errors with custom units. Here's a screenshot that's pretty much self-explanatory

Do you have the 1.1 patch installed? If not, that's your problem. You can find it on Lucasart's website right here.

I do but I had to make the addon folder myself so I know there's something wrong.

No, that wouldn't be it... strange. Maybe you should try reinstalling the patch again, just to be safe.

I've tried all 3 patches, cause I dunno what version I have.

There's only one patch for BFII thus far, and probably only will be one patch. You probably got one of the BF1 updates. Try the link I gave you and see if it works.

I mean all 3 versions, English, Int. and Int. CD. It's obviously one of the international ones though cause they both patch the game but still no addon folder.

Oh... well, depnds on what version of the game you have. If you have the English version, then obviously install that one. But only that one. Don't install the International versions. That's what screwing it up.

It's a localization issue. Basically the tools only came with the Ability to make names for things in US English

Were you getting your patch from? If it is the english version on xfire do not bother goto Lucasarts.com and get the correct patch from there,there are several to choose from.Make sure you get the right one.If youv'e got the mod tools try running modtools visual munge and that should create a ADDON folder for you in your gamedata directory....Failing that read the forums for your answers 1st.Hope this link helps http://www.gametoast.com/index.php?name ... swbf+patch
