Sorry for the late reply, I was a bit busy.

Well, that .exe file is the multi player.exe file.
That would mean the problem is in multi-player. But if you run single player and you get the error: iw3sp.exe, the problem could be so much more.

It's only in multi. It's really frustrating.

Idea: Try the iw3mp.exe instead of the shortcut.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? You have to have drivers to use hardware.

Try updating your nVidia drivers to the latest version for your card and see if that fixes the problem.

Really I do, I installed Nvidea drivers several times. And the whole screen got messed up. And every time I had to reset my computersettings to a week earlier to resolve the problem.

The error message says there was an internal driver error in Direct X
It either CTDs, or it just goes black, and the screen says no signal, like when I turn it off. The computer is still on, though.

Your specs are low maybe your in game settings are to high.Try shutting down unused programs through Ctrl/Alt/Delete processes .You must always read the system requirements before you buy a game to make sure you pC will run smooth.Min CPU for cod4 is a athlon 2800+ a 2000+ will freeze as it is working to hard.Shut down the icons your not using on the bottom right of your screen aswell by right click and exit

You may consider a upgrade.Overclock is a option but you need to know what your doing!!! Look in the pc's BIOS,Google Rivatuner or Coolbits
