Okay, I'm using XSI v5.0 and the Pandemic SWBF2 XSI Addon. When I click on the file menu the first time, it looks normal. However, when I return to the file menu, there are now two Pandemic Tools, and the Open command is missing. Each time I open the menu, there is another Pandemic tools, all of which are the same. This continues until there are six tools, and none of the basic file commands.



What is this? It's not fatal, because I can still use keyboard shortcuts, but it's very annoying.

here is what to do:

unistall the addon
reinstall the addon

i have the same xsi version and had the same problem

jsut do that and itl be normal

Does that all the time with me as well. I dont even bother fixing it, afterall it's pretty easy to remember those hotkeys.

yeah - it's a common problem

we all had the same problem but it went away when i installed one of my favorite plugins, .fbx, you can get it here...

its actually worth your time to look at though since its the only format ive seen that PERFECTLY converts scenes between max, maya and XSI without any errors.

EDIT: FYI, the plugin was made for XSI 4 and if you ever look at 4 its top UI is totally different and thats probably why the plugin doesnt work right with 5.

Thanks for that minilogoguy18, it will be used for more than removing that error . I've needed an importer / exporter for Maya to XSI for a while.
