Terrainmunge.exe

Post by Fiminopter »

Ok, I've built my map now.
I munge and it says that Terrainmunge.exe has failed.
Here's what I get after it's done

Code: Select all

ERROR[levelpack LUN.req]:Expecting bracket, but none was found.
File : munged\pc\lun.terrain.req(1)...

ucft <--

*edit*

Ok, after it's munged, I run BF2 and run the map.
Then I get the spawn screen, and there's no cp's and there's Polis Masa's Map there. (I used all Polis Massa props so I just copied everything from the ODF and the MSH files to my world1 folder).

*edit (again)*

Whoops! Ok, I found out my problem.
I have forgotten to "update world req's and mode mrqs"

*edit (yet again)*
Hmmm, I guess that didn't work.
I munged it again and I got the same error.

If I add brackets to the LUN.terrain REQ file, then I get
another error saying that the file is not a proper UCF binary file
or something like that.

If you search for Expecting bracket, you would find that all you need to do is a full clean.

Any files under the munge folder and generated by VisualMunge. If you even get an error in one of them, do a clean. It means you stopped a munge or VisualMunge gave you an error during an eariler munge and you forgot to fix it.

It didn't work.
I tried cleaning it with VisualMunge, then a manual clean.
Both times I got the same error.

I'm pretty sure my problem is with Terrainmunge.exe or my LUN.TER file.
When it munges, it gets to LUN.TER and it says that Terrainmunge.exe has "ended unexpectedly".
