Running the game
windowed takes less RAM and is easier on your video card since it runs in very small resolution. I'm not saying this is a fix for your problem, but you can use it until you find a better video card.

A matter of much debate, as a lot of people have their own standing on overclocking. For my 2 cents however...
Overclocking
will shorten the lifetime of components, by a couple years give or take. Higher temperatures and higher voltages both contribute to increased likelihood of atomic migration within the silicon.
In layman's terms, it can fry it. However it's just a gamble, if you want to try it out and see if it helps, then go ahead. I
personally wouldn't do it.

Thanks fasty, windowed mode is actually really handy. I can't believe I've never tried it before.

It solved my alt+tab issue, however it still has the delay. I'm just gonna take you guys word for it and leave it. It is pretty annoying though....
i didn't realise that Wulfman. This laptops already pretty old by laptop standards, so it'll probably destroy it......i don't think i'll do it.
