Okay, Fluff, it looks like whatever griefed did so when Xav had the server, because it's not in my logs at all. I even broke the glass in your hot tub myself to get the exact coordinates. There is nothing. It musta been the mass griefing. I'm terribly sorry.

Eh, it's nbd, that room was made when I first became an op, so nothing is legit. BTW, are we gonna get a new world when 1.8 comes out? I personally think we should, since this world is getting kinda full and there's gonna be completely new generation anyway.

It's been a toss-up, really. On one hand, it might be chunk generation again. The new stuff would only appear on new chunks, therefor maintaining all your old builds. I couldn't find any source saying that it would or wouldn't be required to make a totally new world.

On the other, I REALLY want to do adventure mode, whether or not we have to start anew.

So, I might just start running two servers. Less people can be on a server at once (like 4-5 per... tops... compared to having it set at 10 right now), but we can have both adventure and survival.
Or, I could just convert our current server to adventure.

Really, it's up to you guys, I guess.

My vote would be to start anew with the adventure update, whenever the 1.8 update is released. There's a lot of cool things on the server, but there's also a lot of clutter and I think it would be good to start afresh.

But at the same time, a lot of people have put a lot of time and effort into some creations on that map. Sure, there's a lot of clutter, but even *I* have some stuff on there that I'd like to keep around.

Same here, I really like my house, the unused portal hub, and a lot of the cool stuff in Gametostia and other cities. I'd just prefer a fresh start is all. That's just my vote though, if other people want to keep the old world that's fine by me.

It's too bad worlds are no longer possible. Jens tweeted that old world would generate new things, but that there would be visible chink disparities.

I think we should keep this server. Fresh on one hand is nice, but we can just as easily just migrate to a new area.

I say you get McEdit, copy some of the important building to a schematic, and make a new world. I really really like the new world generation so far, and I think it would be really cool to experience it with friends. Besides, this world is getting kinda cluttered. IDK...

I'm fond of everything that's been built so far.

I think there should be two servers; The current one and the supposed adventure one. But I don't mind a fresh start if it comes to that. Just as long as everyone gets a pumpkin when they join the server...

Soooooo my laptop didn't like being on all day today. I don't know what made today different than any other day, but my guess is inactivity. So I'm gonna let her rest a bit. And then try again on Thursday when I'm not at work from 5-10, so I can keep an eye on her at least when I'm not at school.

I agree I'd hate to lose my bases and all the cool thing you guys have made.

My friend, Olmanjenkins, wants to know why he was removed from the whitelist. He says he's terribly sorry for whatever he did, and he can make cookies for everyone here. Actually, he didn't say the last part, but if that's his ticket in, I could probably get him to do it.

Please do not make buildings/structures out of normally unobtainable/impossibly difficult to obtain materials in Dinotopia. This includes sponges, portal blocks, iron blocks(when a large number are used), diamond blocks, gold blocks, and glowstone.

I believe he had this three strikes. Twi and Rampant have reasons. The only one I remember is his crude joking.

BTW, that house made of iron blocks and stuff I was beginning to build actually was legit, which is why I never finished it. I also was gonna get rid of that trollolol house today, so I'll get right on that. Nobody else do it though, cuz I don't want anyone stealing the resources in the floor.

Which signs were those? If you're talking about the resources for the signs, don't bother. Wood is easy enough to get.

Additionally, I built a people crusher for DTia! I was bored and Null gave me the idea. I personally like it a lot. All the bricks were gathered by me without any help from an op!

Alright, guys, my laptop failed to start today. Had to do a cleanup and restore to what the computer determined to be the "last successful startup." (Fun fact: it didn't tell me when that was, so I have no idea how far it rolled back. A couple hours? A day or two? No idea) If the server files got rolled back, I DO have a backup from 8/25/2011 at 9:33 PM. So that's only about a day. I have no idea if the server got rolled or not, though, so you'll have to let me know.
