Time for a SWBF 2 Lua Scripting System sub-forum?

I've never run a forum, so I don't know anything about how much work creating sub-forum take, but:
Could we please get an LUA scripting sub-forum? Its getting to be a more popular topic, and a few modders specialize in it, so it would be good IMHO if all that info was in one place, and to have a place where LUA specific stickies would fit in etc.
I swear, this request was only hardly at all influenced by my coding post being
bumped down by noob questions.
I volunteer to mod, and with proper access, move a few of my threads, and others with permission, to their new home.
Soon my age old quest for moderatorship will be at an end, FWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH. Its not about that either.

I'll run it by the others, but I still doubt the mod status

A LUA 'How-To' sticky would probably be more appropriate. The more sub-forums, the harder it is to find things quickly.

O.K. Tean, though I don't agree with your argument.
For one thing, grouping similar things together in a forum of their own should make it easier to find.
I think I know what you mean, though having open many forums at once, and check multiple forums etc. But I think i handle that pretty well with multiple browser tabs, though, I guess, a mod like you has a lot of sub-forums to check.
Just though of a solution, Search ALL forums with no keywords for posts made in the last few days?
I do have a feeling that I am about to make a bunch of new posts, or at least I would if there were a new forum.
I think that concludes my argument. Not trying to be pushy.)

What he's saying is that LUA-related topics would be harder to find because they could be in either forum.
Let's take the new teleporter thread as an example. People wouldn't know whether its in the LUA sub-forum or if its in the Modding section so you would have to search both since it only indirectly involves LUA.

I agree with Tean, a sticky would be better, and It would make things easier to find.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be a good idea, I'm just saying there isn't enough interest at the moment. Experience has shown that new forums should be created out of need; not the other way around. We don't need a new forum that needs people to post in it.
The best way to sum it up is just by the amount of topics. Every time we've created a new forum, it's been due to lots of topics related to something specific. There just aren't enough for a LUA forum.

I leave these decisions to Teancum.

I agree with Teancum, it needs to be a sticky. But thank goodness you brought this idea up. I have been searching the web for tutorials in Lua scripting. Yay! Now I can finally learn now.

Most lua things are entwined with other aspects of modding. I personally would prefer all modding in one forum like it is now.
