That one looks ok, but the others however, are just colorization filters on the face.

yeah I know. The others aren't that great but they will get the job done since I am doing a map on Sith Lords vs. Jedi Masters. I only did them in 5 min too. I am glad you like one of them, though.

True, very true.

And I have to say the same thing, it does look like crap, all it really is is almost completely random scribbles all over the place.
Say, if a game producer made that, and shipped a game with that in it, wouldn't you think it was crap?
Crazyness makes for bad, half-baked gameplay.
Game producers have realized this, and so, you don't find any (zilch, zip, nada) games with crazy weapons and models/skins.

Besides Unreal Tournament. Ive never played, but from what my game working friend (he works on video games- made locust weapons for Gears of War) says, its chaos to the extreme. But not scribbles chaos.

but you might want to change the jettroopers jetpack to match the rest (its still blue)

That's a good color of green, I would desaturate it a bit since it's a bit oversaturated at the moment.
And if you can, add a bit of brown into there too, looks more natural that way.
