Call of Duty CD Problem

It's simple, really...I install CoD on my computer for the first time since I uninstalled it a few months ago, it'll install fine and everything, but when I try to play it, it gives me the pop-up message saying that the CD isn't in, and I need to put it in to play. Reinstalling doesn't help, and I can't find a solution. Help?

Have you tried a different computer or CD drive?

Original CD and do you have a DVD-ROM,or DVD-/+R(W)?
