Missing map names in selection list?

some custom maps i downloded have no name in the map list just a blank slot it has happened with quite a few maps idk if thats just the maps or what

What custom maps would those be? What version of the game do you have?

1.1 bespin escape and some of squiddes stuff like eddie kastle and stuff like that i also have the convo pack installed

A lot of mappers forget to update localization for any languages which aren't US English. Best thing to do is to let the mapper know so that they can update it.

Another way for that to happen is when people mess up their own addme script or incorrectly attempt to add new modes to existing maps.

Also, doesn't the Squeddie mappack have compatibility issues with the Convo Pack?

I have a similar question.
on my SWBF only the 3 Latter and lots of %/& are behind. How can i get the real names??

Try the different v1.1 installers and/or try the different version switchers which include BattlefrontII.exe.
