7.5 startup problems

I am using Vista, just to give a heads-up
Everytime I try to open XSI 7.5 it crashes on me. As in, by the time the netview pops out it says it has an error and closes. By some extremely lucky chance sometimes it does work and I can doa s normal, but that hardly happens.
Ideas anyone?
