I have a question: Do you have some more info? Screens? I love the DoW theme and I'm really curious about your project!
Also, this forum has WIP thread rules, I'm sure the person who posts next will quote them or guide you to them (unable to do so myself on Wii browser)
I'd really love some more info, as it's a great idea.

I like it here, much more convenient than filefront, although I mainly post there.

Ok, so I don't now if it's illegal, but I am currently converting the actual models and textures from Dawn of war into battlefront II. I understand that Pandemic is very loose when it comes to giving out their work, but relic and the warhammer companies are very uptight.
Well, if it is legal, I'm planning on taking all of the races' units, buildings, and vehicles and converting them into props, command posts, new soldiers, walkers, hover, and tread type vehicles and placing a set of two to four races on maps that mimic "shipped" maps for DOW, (IE.: blood river, into the breach, etc.).
If any one is willing to check for the legality of this mod please do so, because I may never do so and end up owing quite a bit of money for it.

I think it's legal BUT ONLY IF you get the companies' permission first, or if they released the models to be used freely. Otherwise, no, it's illegal.

Then I'm 90% sure you get banned and your mod can't be put on this site and SWBF files. There's another map which has a few models converted illegally from another SW game. It's not meant to be discussed on this site. So ripping of an entire game...probably not gonna be taken too well.

- Using models from another game without permission
If commercial models have been released to the public (in other words, their source files) then you are safe to convert them to SWBF1/2. If no source files were released you have ZERO permission to use them, and doing so will result in a 30 day ban.

Then you can do it elsewhere. Posting any more discussion, WIPS or showcases, etc of your conversion will result in an instant-ban.
