Since Hawx is basically in the garbage, does anyone recommend any other modern warfare games? I like games that deal with air battles and with jets like the F-16s or F-22s. I heard that Ace Combat is a good one to get, but I'm not sure which one to get. I've only seen Ace Combat 6 for the 360 since I don't have a PSP. I like games where you can take off of air craft carriers and air ports. Oh, and not that much swearing.

So if anyone can recommend me any, I'll take a look at it.

This isn't really a modern fighter game, and it is kinda old, but Crimson Skies is a pretty good flying game.

I don't believe there are many good jet-fighter games around, but from what I remember, there are a couple of pretty good WWII plane games.

For WWII, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII is a very good game, except that there isn't a terrible lot of replayability. There is also a sequel which allows the user to supposedly fly prototypes that were in the works at that time.

I have played Ace Combat 3 for the PS2, which was a very good game, and I can only imagine the newer ones are better.

IL-2 Strumovik series is great. It's an old simulator, but definitely one of the best and its probably extremely cheap now.
