I think I fixed the arm problem, could still be wrong though here it is

Also changed the helmet a bit again, and added a few scratches.

Nice skins Nino, but i think a way of keeping the textures of the original but adding the new red colour would look better if you put the red on a seperate layer.
What do you think of this, i was messing around with GIMP and looking at the patterns when i made this skin, i think it is quiet cool, it is a really simple 2 minute job though, i call him.......bum buda bum bum bum buuuuu..................The Lightning Mud Trooper.

Dragon, The reason I did not add a different layer was becuase I thought that adding the red over the already colored sections looked good as it made a "patchy" effect as if the armor was battle-worn. The first skin is only a beta by the way. And I really like ur trooper for a quick skin. The reason I do not use layers is because:

A) I do not understand exactly what they do (that would hurt, wouldnt it)
B) How can u add dried mud and lightning (or for that matter any image) and have it show up with no extraneous "stuff" around it?

Basically, a layer is just that... It's kind of like a sheet of transparent plastic, on which you can draw another part of your image. You can adjust the opacity and/or position of each layer in relation to the others.
