Recently I decided to redo my direct lighting, except when i hit burn terrain it does nothing. I was wondering if there was something i was missing that was causing it to not burn terrain.

I know my direct light is working because i munged it without burning the terrain and it is casting shadows in game. But for some reason it doesnt want to burn the terrain

You also have to set your Top/Bottom Ambient Colors to something darker. I also recommend you set the bottom lower than the top for shading reasons.
