How do I convert models from jk3?

how do i convert models from jk3 is there a tutorial on this?

I would really urge you to not even go into converting models from JK3 or any other game for copyright reasons.

oh ok its just i am totally helpless making models and i thought it might be eaiser converting them.

Nobody is helpless making models, it just takes time to learn. I am no expert on making models either, but it really doesn't take that long to get the feel for it.

there isnt tuto, but basically is convert model , reposition to pose T same than clone and then envelope it

um, XSI I use milkshape to import glm's and export them as obj's then i import the obj into XSI

he know it, but convert any jka model from no direct game, like custom authors as Neomarz is legal, of course with this permission XD

Let me just put it succinctly. If you've never used a modeling program converting a JK2/JK3 model is not for you. You could ask someone like Deviss to help you out (if he is willing), but you won't have the skills to do it for awhile.

I guess then to learn how to use Milkshape 3D and XSI.

All of his models are allowed to be freely converted.

ok thx and your saying to just learn the basics of them?
