Heyho.

So I have started a Geonosis and I used some of Teancums/Pandemics Clone Wars Geonosis assets including this large spire models.
They look very nice and really fit the map but there´s a problem: They have no lowrez. If you fly around with a jedi starfighter this can be very tricky.

I tried various things to give it a lowrez but I wasn´t succesfull.

I made a msh.option for the model and added: But that doesn´t work.

I added to the odf: But that didn´t work either.

Is something wrong with my codes or are there any other ways of giving it a lowrez without XSI?

try making a .option file for the spire with these in it
-lodgroup hugemodel -lodbias 5

play with the number for lodbias bigger number stays detailed longer

It doesn´t work... I even tried -lodbias 1000 but nothing.

The only other thing you could try, other than editing the model to add in the lowres, is to change the view distance of your map in the sky file.

Hmmm that would cause laggs or even crashs because there are many units in my map...

Looks like I have to find somebody who wants to edit the models for me.

Does GeometryLowRes = "model_name" not work in the odf?

Had a quick look at PsychoFred odf doc and found this under props

LowResModel = "geometryname"

Both GeometryLowRes and LowresModel don´t work...
