Spawn animations

Post by Obi-Wan Kenobi »

Hey guys, can you change the animations of the people when you spawn to make it more acurrate?(i.e. the battle droid animation: the clip goes in the side of the gun, not the bottom) If you don't follow me, forget it anyway.

Custom FPMs are impossible and I don't think there would be enough of a difference to be really worth changing the 3rd person animation.

He's talking about the idle poses you see on the "spawn screen" - the unit select, which can be changed.

Mav is correct. Thanks for telling me that. It wouldn't be worth it, but nice to know.

Hey, you know in renegade squadron and elite squadron how if you stay still, an idle animation plays? Mav somehow got a guy to do that in one of his maps, and I have caught my guy doing it once on Tantive IV. What the heck? Is it possible to have that happen more commonly? Is it? (I hope this is still on topic)

well, there are "checkweapon" and "lookaround"-animations in the assets. i once tried to use this state to play some ambience-anims but i never saw them ingame so i assumed they arent implemented at all. looks like threy are still played sometimes but theres no known way to edit the frequency

Animated prop using an old unused idle anim from BF1 apparently.
