ok i am starting to think that i should have combined these into one topic but then it would be a bit confusing... anyway

i wanted to know if you can add custom music to an era mod not just a map mod and how, i am thinking that it would require me getting a bunch of luas and modding them. also if someone has a link to a good music adding tutorial that will help, well i am off to look for one but probably won't find a thing...
EDIT: wow i went to the all you need to know thread and found a tutorail but i still need to know how to do this is eras not maps

Adding music to an era mod and adding it to a single map are done the exact same way. Did you even bother trying the tutorial you found?

yes i have been reading it i just wanted to make completly sure that i could do it before spending an hour or two on something that isn't possible

EDIT: ok i just need to know how to music files now. i got about 6 songs i want to use and i have no idea how to mix them if anyone knows how or what program to use it would help

You don't need to combine all your music files into a big file. You can simply list all of the files individually in the .stm file and then "mix-and-match" them using the configuration file. This will allow you to create "combinations" without increasing the file size.

i thought it said i could only use 4 but ok then. i'll go work that out as soon as i get my map working again. for some reason the terrian won't show up in my CW mode but it does in the GCW mode so that is weird... (anyone know how to fix this?)
