I wonder, are there any templates to create new animations for Grievous? cuz I don't think the unit template beta is compatible with him, it would be cool to give him his Clone Wars cartoon power with proper saber animations.

I hope there is some way to make them, plus I hope this topic goes here... modding but 3D animation and stuff, is confusing.

This probably would have been better in the requests thread, in the General forum, but oh well. As to your question, i don't think there have been any custom animations made, and i doubt anybody will bother making new ones, as very few people here can make them, and fewer still could be bothered to make them.

there is a way to make them but its not really nice
you can convert skeletons with ultimate unwrap 3d to xsi (acemastermind and fragme have it if i remember correctly)
but it turns all bones into nulls which means you can only animate them by rotating nulls.

What about making a new skeleton? maybe when I get some free time, although that implies a whole new set of animations, but well... is not the end of the world.

You could look at the skeleton in Unwrap3D and reconstruct it from that. It'd be annoying, though.
