well you guys have been waiting for a new map from me, well you wait is nearly over. Also my V-wing will make its daput in this map. ETA is currently a week but may be a little longer due to the fact that there is tons pf new conntent going in, Beleive me people it will be worth the wait.
For thouse of you who are wondering about my other maps, they arn't abandoned, keep an eye owt, as you never know lol. Special thanks to Saturn_v, for Exporting the palm for me. Thanks buddy

wow its nice looking, looks like the MP demo map from Battlefield 1942! one of my favorites at the time.....sweet work.... If i make a movie on this map maybe ill use some reggae hehe. OH no , i can see saturn making a dreadlock warrior now.. hehe.

Me and satun are tryn t owork out the texture tileing in Battlefront, so the trunks look a bit distorted, but we'll get it

hey i have an idea create a very large map whit many archipelagos and add the wavskimmer
fro rogue squadron

ETA is a week or two, as I whan't to put tons of new content in, lol It was lookin so cool, I had to share the pic with the comunity. Ya I'll get some v-wing pics, I need to export it, but soon........

He modelled it in fine detail in NURBS in Maya, then he exported it to 3DS Max where he converted to a polymesh Sub-D object, ran it through CharacterStudio for the envelope, then imported to XSI Advanced for the texture, then exported to Milkshape to get it into ASCII, then used BConstructor to export it for the game. Easy when you read the documentation that comes with the mod kit.
hey L5R, are there going to be any Pirate ships on those Mon Cal oceans ?

lol Pirats of the Mon carriben, ah it dose have a ring to it.
I was thinking about making water skimmers for the imps.
And yes it was "cough" easy, just follow the directions. lol and it helps to have a guy like saturn there to give you support, and to ahem "export" said models. lol

u kno, i was thinkin about announcin that idea, but i decided that there is no real reason for it, tanks can hover so the only ship worth makin would be a submersable just an idea!

submersable, hmmmm. I don't think it would work, Im pretty shure the BF engine wont allow it. good idea though.

yes, though if it moved as fast as the speederbike, it might do the submersble thing, and as soon as it stops u would surface,attack and run. So it really might not be that hard if we can find out what makes the speederbike sink.

however i have an other idea the scuba trooper for clone army.
replace the jet trooper whit scuba trooper is possible? is possible move under the sea without die?

No i dont think thats possible, the engine just doesnt work that way, the only way it could is if the water was just a texture, but then every unit could swim.

I am in aggreance with blackhawk, I haven't seen anyone create an underwater map. I know I would love it if the engine was capable of doing it. Speaking of ep3 concept art, someone should redesign the jet trooper into the sky trooper. That thing rocks! It is visually a lot better than the jet trooper.

o for an under water level u could make a sky that looked like water with the faded sun look on top then just make everything look sandy and whatnot
