I think you need to watch carefully because the sash has a microscopic detail, and the "sharp" view of the XSI causes pixels to look like that.

Microscopic detail is microscopic. How does it look in MSHViewer, or in-game?

It will look the same, the texture detail wont be affected.

Photoshop I think.

I'm still not sure if the sash will come out pixelated or just blended together into a featureless grey; the thing about tiled textures like that is when they're very small, in-game they tend to blur together from anything but a really close distance. Usually you're not that close to any unit, be it your own or an enemy. Perhaps you could export it just as a prop and put it in MSHViewer, to be sure?

I'm pretty sure he uses Gimp, cause I remember seeing a comment of his where he says;
"I use Gimp, I dislike Photoshop for some reasons".

honestly i liked the first sash better it probobly wont look any different from sash #2 ingame though sadly

I think it will also depend on the screen that, i have seen screenshots taken on small screens and the ones that are taken on bigger ones look much better, so that possibly can affect the sash.
