Nice! Fingers crossed AC2 doesn't suck as much as the last one :(
If that's your definition of something "sucking", then I hope Assassin's Creed 2 sucks even more.

First off, very nice, Delta.

I kinda agree with destructo_bot. While Assassin's Creed was really fun, by time I finished the story, I absolutely hated it. It was fun jumping around & everything (though as far as that goes, I had better times in Crackdown..), and combat was easy when I quickly mastered countering, but, holy crap, repetition & redundancy FTW...

One button free running and one button counters should never be FTW. I was expecting sort of 'Hitman meets middle ages' setup, so I was quite dissapointed with it. However Assassins Creed has apparantley now ditched repitition in favour of paying prostitutes to distract guards. Epic win.

Yeah, that "FTW" was definitely sarcastic. lol And hey, if it switches up the gameplay, just let it go... lol

I was asked to design a t-shirt for the winners of the Resolve (link) Great Pumpkin Hunt, which will be happening on Oct. 30th, 2009.

I think it turned out pretty well - the only problem, in my opinion, is the pumpkin, which I designed using Adobe Flash CS3. I probably could have done better.

Wow, that's awesome Dohnutt. Great opportunity and that shirt really came out nice! :P

The pumpkin does look like it needs something more... Maybe if you had put in shadow on it? Or had it in the same style as the 'pumpkin hunter' text. Otherwise, it looks awesome.

Epic Win, everybody! Might I ask how you make fractals, though?

That has been answered 2 times in the previous pages (first one was for me)
In Gimp, go to; "Filters" -> "Render" -> "Nature" -> "Flame"
And then play around with that.

I was messing with "Flame" thing and got these. The first was a mistake. The second came out better.

You guys know that the "Flame" filter is not actually a fractal, right? (at least, not in the traditional sense of the term)

GIMP uses fractals as part of making flames flames, but real fractals are made either in the Render > Fractal Explorer filter, or in the Render > IFS Fractal filter. In fractal explorer, you can use sliders to adjust the appearances of some of the most famous fractal equations (like Lambda, Julia, and Mandelbrot, for example), and these actually come out quite nicely. In IFS Fractal, you can make our own fractals, but it is a much harder tool to use, and is for more advanced users.

I love Fractal explorer, personally. It's an easy way to make some beautiful work. For example, I just made this in less than 5 minutes:

Simple, beautiful, and made from pure math.

The only disadvantage is the banding you see here, but there are ways to minimize that, and I really don't mind it that much. (I actually think it makes it look cooler) And as with the flames, you can apply other filters to the fractals afterward, like I did here: http://hebes.deviantart.com/art/Struck-110729435

I was pretty bored, and I've been sorta obsessed with "IT'S A TRAP" (thanks to Admiral Ackbar), so I designed my own T-Shirt. But now I wanna buy it :/
